Blog # 10

Tribes have been a very important concept in Arabian and Islam because it creates a group of family in a sense and security. Just like in cliques which are formed in every high school in the world pretty much. You get the sense of belonging and friendship however just like in tribes and cliques feuds and fighting occurs. In my opinion the tribes are more negative then positive for example in ancient Islam history the first four caliphs had control of Islam but after succession the empires of Islam split up and there was a ton of confusion within Islam. Also tribes have different religious views which cause strife among each other. For example then Sunnis and the Shi'ites have been fighting for thousands of years over the idea of who got inherited The Prophet Mohammad idea of Islam. Which leads me to my last point of my tribes are more negative then positive. Mohammad was part of a lower tribe and I think that maybe if had Mohammad been part of a higher tribe his idea of Islam be farther spread. Possibly Mohammad could have clearly stated who should carry on the idea of Islam the caliphs or his family.
